Hunger Run 2024

Lace up and Run for a Hunger! ​​​ The charity flagship running event "HUNGER RUN" organized by FOODSPORT, is returning to the stunning Tseung Kwan O Waterfront on 27th October 2024 (Sunday). This event aims to raise public awareness and funds to fight poverty and hunger, in celebration of "The World Food Day". This year, HUNGER RUN will be doubling the fun and impact by extending the theme of "Cha Kee" (Hong Kong Traditional Style Café) into the event. Runners will not only get to enjoy a picturesque run along the TKO harbour with breathtaking views, but also indulge in a vibrant carnival atmosphere filled with Hong Kong's beloved traditional food and culture. Don't miss out on the exciting dress-up competition - showcase your creativity by dressing up in your best "Cha Kee" inspired outfit and stand a chance to win amazing prizes! Every calorie burned during the run will be converted into food equivalent for donations to our charity partner "ImpactHK", providing nutritious food and meals to the homeless in Tai Kok Tsui. In addition, the event proceeds, after deducting operating costs and food donations, will be contributed to the "FOODSPORT FOUNDATION" to fund its "Food Assistance" and "Community Sport" programs, ensuring the sustainability and expansion of our community calorie drive initiatives in Hong Kong.
